This event is part of the English Riviera Literature Festival programme.
This free ‘taster’ workshop is for adults who would like to explore their interest in creative writing. It is suitable for beginners who would like to try out and build on their skills as well as those who already enjoy writing for pleasure. In a supportive and encouraging atmosphere participants will find stimulation and motivation through informal writing exercises and discussion.
The taster workshop will lead to an opportunity to sign up to a six week course exploring different forms of writing and to have fun developing writing skills. It is not designed for those who are seeking to improve their basic written English for everyday purposes. The workshop will be led by Chris Woodhouse who throughout a twenty five year successful career has taught in and managed Adult and Community Learning, as well as devised and run numerous literary workshops and creative writing courses.
Spaces are limited and must be booked in advance. Please note that the workshop taster will take place in Down Stage Left and there are several steps to access this space.
