The Palace Theatre is managed by Jazz Hands, a Community Interest Company and this CIC runs the Friends of Palace Theatre.
We invite you to join the Friends, a wonderful group of supporters that love the theatre and help with the care of the this lovely theatre. They are dedicated to supporting the theatre by raising awareness of its place in the community by promoting its productions, and by raising funds for its continual improvement. The Friends have already contributed enormously to improvement works at the theatre including:
Improved Disability Access
Repairs to the roof and fabric of the building
New raked enhanced viewing seating
New temperature control systems including air handling
Better Box Office facilities
Extension to the bar area
Annual Membership of the Friends of Palace Theatre is £20 for an individual and £30 for a family (up to four in a household).
Benefits:
- Most of our shows offer a small saving on tickets for example £1 – £2 per Friends ticket.
- We are occasionally able to offer special deals for priority booking and complimentary hospitality.
- We also aim to host an annual ‘Friends’ event.
We have over 200 members and, as a not-for-profit community interest company, we welcome the support we receive from members both financially and sometimes as volunteers.
