Charity Auction and Game Show Night

23rd September 2023 @ 19:30 to 22:00

Free – Tickets £5

Sports and music fans are in for a treat, when some fantastic items go under the hammer at a special charity auction which will be held in the Stage Left Events Suite at the Palace Theatre on 23 SEPTEMBER 2023.

Top lots include tickets to see Peter Kay at the Manchester Arena in a private box, a signed shirt by Jurgen Klopp, a signed vinyl from ‘Sting’; a London Olympics cap signed by Usain Bolt and a signed England athletics top from Sir Mo Farah.  Also the Brownlee Brothers have donated and signed a pair of trainers and one of their books, there are signed framed photos from Gary Barlow and Mick Jagger, and a signed novel by acting great Tom Hanks.

Plus weekend breaks, a VIP visit to Plymouth Gin, a bottle of whisky signed by Rishi Sunak and so much more – all lots are listed on the Palace Theatre website. There is sure to be something to encourage you to bid, and to support a worthy cause at the same time.

To get the night started, the fabulous Ady Bing will be running a fun game show, for everyone to enjoy … pontoon or bust, a game with lights, buzzers, spinning wheels, music, and sequins.

Tickets including a draw ticket are £5 per person.  All other entry is free but please do grab a free ticket.

View the lot list here (Subject to amendment. A final version will be posted before the event.) Auction items 2023 at 14 August 2023

The Stage Left Bar will be open, as will the kitchen, for some tasty treats on the night, so make a night of it, bring your friends, have some fun and support a good cause too.

All profits raised by Events and Stuff South West Charitable Trust will be directed towards good causes, including Save the Children Ukraine appeal and those which focus on humanitarian crises and starvation, such as Water Aid, UNICEF as well as very small charities.

About Events and Stuff South West Charitable Trust:

Events & Stuff South West Charitable Trust has been set up to provide support for children caught up in overseas humanitarian crises. This life-saving help includes providing food, clean water and medical care to children who are at risk of loss of life. We also support many opportunities for school-age children deprived of an education.  We achieve our aims by organising several fund-raising events and initiatives, corporate sponsorship, and public donations, with an annual donation to a large global charity whose aims are in line with those of the Trust. The infrastructure of the global charity ensures the money gets where it needs to go.

We have no paid staff and no overheads in the day to day running of the trust.  For more information contact Ian Coulton on 07920 421285 or email [email protected]
