A daytime talk with speaker: Nick Powe

Nick will reflect on two decades running Kents Cavern, his family’s 120-year association with Britain’s Oldest Home and his continuing involvement with Torbay’s prestigious UNESCO designation, the English Riviera UNESCO Global Geopark.   An illustrated talk on the connection between the landscape of the Geopark and Kents Cavern’s extraordinary association with humankind; maybe the longest human link to any one place on the planet.

Monthly talks with interesting folk on fabulous subjects. It’s a time to socialise, discuss and learn lots of fascinating things.
