We’re in the TicketSource competition to win a £1,000 grant to help fund our next community event. Last day to vote is Sunday 2nd June!
Our application for this competition is to expand the current ‘Audience At the Palace’ events. Our established programme already attracts hundreds of people a year who come along to find out about fascinating subjects and to meet interesting folk. It’s also a chance to socialise with teas and coffees an important part of the event. This funding would enable us to live stream talks into outreach settings such as residential care homes, and to develop an archive of the memories and social history around the themes being featured, including local food, culture, heritage, sport and local people that have made their mark on Paignton and Torbay.
