It was a record breaking Panto at the Palace this year. Paignton Pantomime Productions is an award-winning amateur company that has been producing panto in the town since 1935 – yes you read that right – nearly 90 years of fabulous entertainment! The 2022/3 Cinderella season ended with the amazing news that, despite nervousness about audiences returning, all records had been broken with an incredible 5,186 seats sold and most shows completely sold out.
Congratulations to the panto’s amazing team – both on-stage and behind the scenes – and a huge ‘thank you’ to our wonderful audiences. Not only have they supported this show but they have donated spare change at the end-of-night bucket collections.. Topped up by Panto, these collections raised an incredible £2,200 for the Palace this year. The Theatre is managed by a not-for-profit Community Interest Company and these donations help to maintain this fabulous old theatre and to widen the range of activities we can offer the community.
Cinderella may be ‘behind you’ but the company have announced that their 2023/4 production will be Aladdin and bookings will be open soon.
