Even in the war years this lovely theatre was able to remain open so we’re sure you can imagine how hard it has been for us through this enforced lockdown. The good news is that we’re back! We have a packed calendar of plays, live music, dance, comedy and day-time talks coming your way and tickets for all events are on sale now. Tickets are available online or by phoning the box office (Monday to Friday 1100-1500) and the box office will be open to visitors from 17 May.
We’re part of theatreland’s see it safely scheme so your theatre visit will be carefully managed and we have procedures in place to make it both an enjoyable and a safe experience. Audience sizes are reduced until 21 June when it is expected that all restrictions will be eased. In the meantime we do ask that you wear a mask at all times unless enjoying refreshments and we have hand-sanitising points around the theatre. Our bar will operate on a takeaway basis so you can enjoy drinks at your seats. We’ll be contacting all ticket holders ahead of each show just to confirm the exact requirements as restrictions change in the weeks to come.
Most importantly – we can’t wait to welcome you back! We’d like to thank all of our lovely performers who have been absolutely stellar in rescheduling dates but most of all we’d like to thank you – our audiences – for your patience and support; it has kept us going!
