Elsewhere in the theatre blog you will see Stuart Crosscombe winning our employee of the month award and for Stuart, this is no mean feat.
Stuart has Fragile X syndrome, a genetic condition that makes learning very difficult for him. Stuart’s Mum works at the theatre and so he started coming in to help and is now very much part of our team. He helps with Front of House, general carrying and tidying and, being tall, is our ‘go-to-man’ for anything that our vertically challenged team can’t reach.
When Stuart was awarded employee of the month, in recognition of his hard work and excellent progress, we decided to use the story to help raise funds for the Fragile X Society.
