Comedy at the Palace

7th October 2016 @ 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Comedy at the Palace

Palace Theatre is excited to announce a new season of comedy performances, featuring some of the best new alternative comedians. This is the first of many comedy nights at the Palace Theatre.

Gareth Richards

Gareth Richards’ hilarious stand-up, silly jokes and gorgeously low-key comedy songs have made him an instant favourite on the comedy circuit. In 2010 he was nominated for Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer.

Gareth has appeared on Russell Howard’s Good News, Live at the Electric (BBC3) and live on Radio 1. Gareth co-hosted Frank Skinner’s Sony award-winning Absolute Radio show for two years and supported Frank on his 2014 tour

Glenn Moore

Within his first 10 gigs, Glenn was a finalist in So You Think You’re Funny? and a runner-up in the Chortle Student Comedy Awards. Since then, he’s gone on to regularly perform across the UK, for the likes of Jongleurs, Off The Kerb and Komedia. At the 2014 Edinburgh Fringe, he was part of the prestigious AAA Stand-Up Late showcase show.

Outside of comedy, Glenn is a newsreader for radio stations across the country, including Capital FM, Classic FM, XFM, Heart, Smooth, Sky News Radio and LBC. He also regularly appears on London Live’s Evening News, and the Evening Show.

Steve HallSteve Hall

Steve Hall joined the stand-up circuit in 2002, where he made the final of the Daily Telegraph Open Mic Award. The following year, he was runner-up in the BBC New Comedy Awards.
