‘An Audience’ at the Palace event on the life of Bill Naughton, the man who wrote Alfie as well as The Family Way and Spring and Port Wine.

Ken Beevers, a former Bolton librarian, tells the fascinating story of the Irishman brought up in Bolton who worked as a weaver, a coal-bagger and a lorry driver before hitting the big time as a playwright. Monthly talks with interesting folk on fabulous subjects!  A time to socialise, discuss and learn loads of fascinating new stuff. Price includes a cup of tea/coffee.
