In 2020, comedy performance poet Robert Garnham spent the summer in the town of Brixham learning all about the fishing industry and its effect on the town for a poetry project. Meeting trawlermen, historians and biologists, he created a sequence of poems which came to be known as ‘Squidbox’. Robert will perform some of these poems and talk about the effect of the fishing industry on the town of Brixham, as well as on himself!
A daytime talk, ticket price includes a cup of tea/coffee.
