In May 2018 we took on a new venture as Directors of Jazz Hands, a Community Interest Company which is now operating the Palace theatre. So, a mere 6 months into our tenancy, we were delighted to win not one but two awards in the 2018 SW Tourism and Hospitality Awards, presented at a glitzy ceremony at Torquay’s Riviera International Conference Centre.
The theatre won a Bronze for Sustainability, in recognition of its environmental sustainability efforts but more particularly for the role that the new CIC plays in the Paignton community, and a Silver for customer service. Our small and wonderful team work very hard to offer the best possible customer service and to receive this accolade in the face of some very established local tourism business is just tremendous.
