Georgia Omarah, the Devon-based singer-songwriter, is complemented by a gifted backing band, but equally comfortable in an intimate setting revolving around acoustic piano and guitar parts accompanied by a hauntingly beautiful vocal delivery, Omarah pours her personal experience into her blues and soul sound. Best known for the majestic and relatable Take My Hand, she forgoes the disposable nature of contemporary pop music, focusing on unforgettable re-workings of established favourites and striking original compositions. https://
Bold, soulful and raw, Anna Hamill is a popular performer on the Devon music circuit. Brought up on a healthy diet of soul and rock, Anna enjoyed listening to music from an early age. Singing and playing acoustic guitar, she re-invents covers and creates soulful originals. Her distinctive voice has caught the attention of BBC Introducing, with three of her tracks having been played by them. 2017 looks to be another exciting year, with Anna’s track The Mask chosen from 96 tracks to be part of a charity album raising money for Macmillian, as well as plenty of live dates and interesting collaborations in the pipeline! She likes making tea, music and art! ‘Beautiful, haunting, exposed, vunerable’ – BBC Introducing in Devon ‘Ridiculously deep and gorgeous tone to her voice’ – BBC Introducing in Devon https://www.musicglue.com/
Female Music Producer turned artist throws away the rule book. Self releases debut power play single which is a pretty punkish antidote to perfect and polished bland offerings. Spurning the usual accoutrements of studio production, such as drums, in favour of organically produced percussion. And hitting the ground running with her New Single ‘Awkward’ labeled as the ‘New LGBTQ Anthem’ by Diva Mag. DIDI announced her arrival on Monday 20th March 2017, with her self penned, self recorded and self released debut single ‘Sorry’ catching the eye and ear of a number of music blogs as well as BBC Introducing, independent radio stations and newspapers, However, this artist, better known as producer Lauren Deakin Davies, (a full member of the respected Music Producers Guild no less, aged 21) has been in bands since she was 10 years old. So no stranger to the stage or studio. But this incarnation to DIDI (a play on words originating from an abbreviation of her surname) is quite different to anything she has produced in her studio.http://
