Comedy at the Palace

Palace Theatre Paignton is excited to announce a new season of comedy performances, featuring some of the best new alternative comedians.

This is the third in the series.

Jarlath ReganJarlath Regan

Award winning comedian, writer and broadcaster, Jarlath Regan has gained a reputation with the industry and audiences for his uplifting, inventive and relentlessly funny stand-up. His performances have made him a firm favourite in all the top clubs on the UK comedy circuit and his award winning An Irishman Abroad podcast, where he interviews some of Ireland’s most famous exports, has won him universal acclaim and a global audience.

Annie McGrath Annie McGrath

Annie McGrath is a comedy writer and performer who has written and appeared on ITV2’s @elevenish, as well as Channel 4 online’s show Girls Go Trolling. Annie has featured on BBC Radio Wales, BBC Radio 4 Extraand has been shortlisted for the Funny Women award. She is also a two-time finalist for the Tickled Pig stand-up competition and has performed at clubs and theatres nationwide, as well as festivals including Latitude andMachynlleth Comedy Festival.

Jack BarryJack Barry

Jack is probably the only stand up on the circuit with a degree in Chinese. What a waste. After working his way around the stand up and sketch circuits, performing at nights for CKP, Knock 2 Bag, The Invisible Dot and the BBC Comedy Tent in Edinburgh, Jack then went on to support James Acaster on the UK tours of Edinburgh Award-nominated shows Prompt(2012), Lawnmower (2013), and Recognise (2014). He can also be seen on James Acaster’s web series Sweet Home Lahnsteineringa.
