A few highlights!

Lest We Forget: Wednesdays in August
A commemorative show to mark 100 years since the end of World War One. A show filled with songs, dancing, poems and reflection. Join this fantastic cast as they take you for a right royal knees up, whilst remembering the sacrifices made to win the war. With songs such as ‘pack up your troubles’, ‘for me and my gal’ and ‘boiled beef and carrots’, you’ll be tapping your feet to victory.
Cinderella – Summer Panto: Thursdays in August
Get swept away by one of the most enchanting fairy tales of all time, as we bring to life the most loved pantomime of them all – Cinderella. This classic rags to riches story tells us of beautiful young girl who is cruelly treated by her jealous Ugly Step-sisters. If she’s to meet her Prince Charming and find true love before the clock strikes midnight, she’ll need all the magic her Fairy Godmother can muster up, along with the help from her best friend Buttons. Will Cinderella get her fairy tale ending? Book your tickets before the clock strikes midnight to find out!
The Vera Lynn Story: Tuesday 21 August
Experience Dame Vera Lynn’s remarkable story from her performance debut at the age of seven to her incredible wartime popularity as the original ‘Forces’ Sweetheart’. In this authentic stage biography, Samantha takes the role of Dame Vera beautifully capturing her warmth and spirit and singing her most famous songs, accompanied by talented pianist, James Hall.
Sounds Like the Seekers: Friday 24 August
Come along and experience again the joyful sound of The Seekers … the carnival isn’t over! In 1963 Judith Durham, a shy young Australian jazz singer, joined Keith, Bruce and Athol to form The Seekers. Within a year they were one of the biggest selling bands in the world.
The Bluejays are your hosts for an electrifying and authentic tribute to the era when music changed the world – the 1950s. Formed in 2013, after years of performing together in West End rock ‘n’ roll theatre shows such as ‘Buddy – The Buddy Holly Story’, ‘Million Dollar Quartet’ and ‘Dreamboats & Petticoats, their brand new show Rock and Roll Revolution guaranteed to have audiences of all ages up and dancing all evening.
Pull on your neon and dust off your shoulder pads – the Zoots are coming to Paignton to celebrate the music of the 80s. They’ll keep you Hungry Like The Wolf, as they play the floorfillers, party anthems, classic pop and power ballads that were Top Of The Pops, from the acts that mattered. Totally Zootastic!
A fantastically entertaining  tribute to the musical phenomenon of the ‘Jersey Boys’ and the timeless, iconic music of ‘Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons’. Enjoy the incredible four part harmonies, roof raising falsetto and with energetic and stylish choreography for a night to remember! The show includes Valli’s greatest hits including Sherry, December ’63 (Oh What A Night), Grease, Can’t Take My Eyes Off You and many more.

Sadly, we have had to postpone the Swansea City Opera performance of Mozartissimo which was scheduled for 8 SEPTEMBER to 4 NOVEMBER, due to the availability of Hannah Sawle, our local and wonderful soprano who thrilled everyone with her performance of Lakme last year and has recently been working at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden.

The performance will now take place at the same time of 730pm on 4 NOVEMBER, all tickets purchased for 8 SEPTEMBER will be automatically transferred to the new performance date, and we apologise for any inconvenience.
