Chamber Opera Tours presents Jane Austen’s Persuasion: A Musical Drama: 22 SEPTEMBER

Following performances at the Jane Austen Festival in Bath, Chamber Opera Tours is thrilled to bring its original musical adaptation to the Palace Theatre in commemoration of the 200th anniversary of the publication of Persuasion. This popular production has toured the UK and North America the past five years and features music from Jane Austen’s manuscripts and the era, fully staged with chamber orchestra, beautiful Regency costumes, projected scenery, and world-champion Irish dancers!

Breaking Tradition and The Demon Barbers QUEST: 25 SEPTEMBER

Fusing morris, clog and sword dance with popping, locking, breaking and martial arts to the beat of new songs and traditional melodies with an electronic edge to create a rousing show.

Macbeth (Matinee): 1 OCTOBER

LOVE • WAR • WITCHRAFT • MURDER • MADNESS A couple’s ambition consumes the kingdom of Scotland. A king’s mind is poisoned by prophecy, power, and paranoia. A nation is led to the slaughter.

Much Ado About Nothing (evening): 1 OCTOBER

LOVE • WAR • LAUGHTER • MARRIAGE • MADNESS.  Soldiers return to Messina. Old flames flare up, fanned by cunning plans, midnight mischief and double deceptions. A mystery unpicked by a pair of bonkers watchmen.

Paul Gascoigne: 4 OCTOBER
